Although I'd like to think I'm doing an excellent job og running the game, truth is that the number of people dropping has me wondering. I have run many campaigns over the years and have been playing RPG's in general and D&D in particular since the days of the old Frank Mentzer Red Box of 1985. But I am relatively new to running them over a Virtual Tabletop like Fantasy Grounds, so I am aware that things like pacing and tone will not translate exactly between the two. Pacing is very important for a successful game session I've found, and its something I'm still trying to get a handle on for FG2.
That said, if there is anything that anyone would like me to do differently, or not at all, please feel free to let me know.
Also, if there is anything in general, that needs to change, this is the place to post your thoughts.
I'm going to try to recruit a few more people. I'd like to get up to 6 dedicated, reliable players. So far, the Gavin and Gustav has been there for each and every session, and its greatly appreciated. Lantis is a pretty reliable player too, as I have played with him in tabletop sessions over the years. If I can get 2 or 3 more reliable players, I think we'll be in pretty good shape.
Since the party is short one cleric, perhaps some of you should devote some time to learning the Healing skill. Under the wound point system, its a VERY handy skill and can literally SAVE YOUR LIFE.
I'd also like to open up discussion about whether or not you all want to open up the game to using voice chat. I have found that I tend to get better role-playing from NOT using voice chat. But If we limit the voice option to OOC and rules discussion, then we can stick with text for in character chat and role-playing. It may speed the game up a bit and drop some of the clutter from the screen. Whats your opinion on that?
